This works great as SKF bearings tend to be more expensive than Timken bearings. And as it turns out, my Tribute came factory fitted with SKF wheel bearings, so an exact replacement for the original. Comparing the two, it seems that SKF has made some changes to the bearing and cage design over the years, so it's good to see they're still okay (no pun intended). Now we're rolling down the road smooth as silk. Do yourself and your Escape/Tribute/Mariner a favor and ditch the cheap chinese junk and go for this quality wheel bearing at a great price.
