Step-by-step assembly instructions were easy. They were all descriptive, with little reading/translation requirements. It took me 10 minutes to carefully unpack the very well thought-out packaging system. I worked constantly and methodically. It took me 4 hours to assemble. Nothing heavy, a 70-year-old woman who has no physical limitations will not have a problem with the weight of objects. Men tend to accumulate more in their lives, so for this 68-year-old man, it wasn't difficult for me to understand the instructions. Of course, if you have never assembled a piece of furniture or don't understand how a drawer works then this makes assembly more difficult as the instructions are based on the assembler having some understanding of how a filing cabinet works. nice under my 66" bush desk case. When you attach the rails to the drawers I tighten the rails just enough so there is no play but I made sure they could rotate easily about the center screw. The outside screws go into a slot rather than a round hole like the center one. There is always a slider to give a little room for the channel that attaches to the side of the cabinet. My drawers slide in and out very easily out. The bottom drawer uses a double rail pull-out system to allow the drawer to slide out all the way, so there is no access underneath the drawer above. The top two drawers don't use the same system, so they can't pull out all the way. Any of the top two Drawers has a usable area of 15.5" long and 12.25" wide. A usable length of 15.5" and above leaves 5" of the top sc lift drawer under the top of the cabinet, requiring you to access the underside to secure items in the back of the drawer. The middle drawer is a bit more closed when opened from the front, the drawer panel above increases the space you need to reach under with your hand or to look down. This covered amount in a medium drawer is nearly 5.5 inches from a 15.5 inch drawer. Unfortunately, the thin sliding system used for the lower document drawer was not used for the two service drawers. This issue takes away from this cabinet somewhat, but if I knew about it I would still buy it. The wardrobe looks nice, is relatively easy to assemble and very practical. No parts were missing, just an extra screw in the kit. Very satisfied! My left desk frame component has a pre-assembled Bush 2 file drawer on casters. If I had to do it again I would buy it disassembled. Build quality is generally better.
