I installed this along with the cover on my 15 Sierra. The bedspread is excellent at keeping water out, with the exception of the back door. Installation was pretty easy. I had to get creative in a few places, but overall it was painless. Once installed I was able to drive through an automatic car wash and the bed stayed completely dry. I recently traveled south and had all my family's luggage in bed. We drove through the monsoon and everything stayed nice and dry. However, I also use my truck, well, like a truck. In just a few months the floor seal has lost about 90% of its strength and I don't think it will last long. I moved several loads of mulch/gravel and although I used a tarp, dirt and dust took their toll on compaction. Unless you're hauling a lot of dirty cargo, I think it's worth a try. If so, I wouldn't expect it to last long.
