I'm having trouble connecting my PS5 to my TV via HDMI and then using the optical output from my TV to my receiver (my receiver doesn't support 4k/HDR). The sound was clearly delayed by half a second, slightly. I wanted to see what options I had before spending $600 on a new receiver. I decided to try this extractor first because it specifically mentions HDR support. I connected everything and voila, the audio delay is GONE. However, I found that my TV is not recognized as HDR compatible. Step forward, step back. Luckily they put a support card in the box so I reached out to their support email. I received a reply within an hour the day before Thanksgiving asking me to turn the TV on instead of 5.1. Once I did that, bam, HDR worked. Great response from their support team and they helped me save a lot of money! I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation.
