Review on πŸ’» Lenovo ThinkPad USB 3.0 Docking Station (0A33970): Ultimate Connectivity Hub for Black by Jermall Meredith

Decent solution for the Carbon x1

This product was basically simple and easy to use on my Lenovo Carbon x1 Touch. It takes up less space than a docking station, but that's its only advantage over a traditional station. My biggest complaints: Doesn't come with many extra USB ports, and since the Carbon doesn't have many to begin with, you end up having to buy a USB hub. If you use it with multiple screens, you will find that they don't fit. t level. I've tried multiple sets of monitors (always the same monitor) and this problem always persists. I've had several IT support staff trying to fix this to no avail. If you disable the dock while leaving the program enabled on the second screen in a dual monitor configuration, you will not be able to view that program on your laptop without reconnecting to doc and closing the program on the first screen move. I'm not sure if this is a Lenovo Carbon issue or a documentation issue, but I've never encountered this before on a Lenovo laptop with a standard doc. So this product works well enough to be used. However, if the standard document ever becomes available for the Carbon x1, I will replace it immediately.
