Works great for what I bought it for.

I bought these to polish paint after buffing or waxing and window cleaning and they are great for that. And for that purpose they shall be used. I don't want the same towel that was used to clean up spilled soda and dirt being rubbed across my car's paintwork and scratching something that I just spent my time and energy polishing off the scratches. If you need something for such versatile jobs, then why would you spend so much money on something like this? Another reason I went with these is that they are darker in color and it is easier to control the amount of compound formed. and helps tell me when it's time to fold or roll over to a clean towel area. I use different colored towels for different tasks to avoid cross contamination. That way I can safely use the towel for a specific purpose and know that nothing else will be in or on it messing up what I'm trying to clean. That being said, they're not ULTRA thick, but they're thick enough for what I need and are great for buffing, buffing, window cleaning, or anything that requires something that gently treats a painted or coated surface. I haven't had them long enough to rate their durability, but I see no reason why they won't last unless you do your laundry on a rock by the river. I haven't used them to pick up much liquid either, but from the way they've washed my windows with the small amount of spray I've used, I'll bet they've pretty much cleaned things up after a wash or wash dry well. processed by something. All in all, they work great and are worth the price.
