My mom peeled ๐Ÿ™‚ for kitchen and bathroom plumbing

I'm in love with this item! I put it on the toilet, which is used most often by adults and children. No more throwing the pot on the floor when not in use! My almost 3 year old has taken to a new seat that was "her size", replacing a wearable potty ring. I can fold the car seat down easily, but my daughter didn't quite have the idea of lifting it up (to unlock it) and then folding it down. She tries to just lower it, causing the car seat to fall off its hinges once on one side. It was easy to fix. Since she always needs help to go potty anyway, lowering the child seat alone (if not already lowered) is not a problem. But if she doesn't learn how to lower them until she goes to the bathroom herself, it will be annoying. The biggest complaint I have is cleaning the gaps around the hinges after my 6 year old son missed the toilet. However, it's no harder to clean than any other toilet seat, and easier to clean than so-called "closed hinge seats," which aren't closed enough to keep urine out. A few more notes: The plastic of the child seat is quite thin. If the head office wasn't underneath for support, it would certainly crack under an adult or heavy child. The car seat stays in the position it was left in (up or down) when you close and open the lid. The car seat itself isn't slow to close (it will slam if you release it while lowering), but the main seat and lid will close. However, the car seat is too flimsy and light to hurt if it lands on your fingers. The car seat can be permanently removed once children outgrow it. Update 7-30-20 My three year old learned to lower the seat himself. . Bought a second one for the kid's bathroom.
