The interior consists of inexpensive fabrics and cushions. I don't know why they replaced the outsole with cheap, thin cushioning, but now they're coming apart faster on the inside because of it. The outer part is also of a different quality than what I have experienced with toms so far. The soles are now made of very squeaky rubber. They look good but are uncomfortable to wear.
