I have two parrots and one of them plucks his feathers from time to time. He does this despite having a parrot companion, a very large flight cage, lots of toys, fresh water, vegetables and fresh produce. Luckily these choppers keep my picker busy so it doesn't snap its feathers. This is the first time I've ordered natural shredders. The last time I bought them from my local bird shop it was the same product but they were colorful strips of palm leaves. Tie it with a bundle of knots to the sides of their cages and to the bottom of some long wooden intestines. They will gnaw and chew on it until they fall out of their wooden guts onto the floor of the cage. Then I cut another strip and tie it back to the cage and wooden bars.
