I've had this unit for a year and two months now and it was good at first but eventually it gave out. Out of the box, the device is cheaply made, and you can tell. The device starts very quietly. And the 1100W power makes it easy to heat water. The app is pretty easy to use. However, after 6 months the device started to fall apart. It made a bit of noise during use and I ended up having to claim under warranty for a broken bottom piece of plastic. Fast forward a year and two months. The device has stopped working due to condensation on the screen. There were no product failures. I have toasters that last longer. I decided to contact customer service to see if they would help even though the one year warranty was up. This resulted in the worst customer service experience. First they tried to offer me an undisclosed discount. I'm just asking if I take a discount. I shared that while I had good intentions, I didn't want to spend the extra money on a product that didn't last as long as a toaster. After some round trip they offered me. Free replacement ONLY IF I LEAVE YOU A FIVE STAR RATING and showed it to them before they replaced the unit. This type of request is absolutely not required. Blackmailing a consumer into providing a 5x review in order to receive a replacement constitutes a false product review. As a result, I will never buy an InkBird product again. Shame on you Inberd
