We bought these beads for our 3 year old daughter for her birthday. She is a big girl and loves jewelry. I wanted something that could be handled and worked as it is difficult to work with smaller beads at this age. Her imagination was wild and she spent hours quietly working with beads, making "snakes", "necklaces", "rings" and many other creative things. This is one of her favorite things to do after school - we count them, talk about shape and color. Each part is very easy to connect / disassemble by yourself without outside help. She can easily assemble every detail without getting frustrated like other bead kits we've had. They also seem to be durable unlike other sets. Informative and entertaining - PERFECT!
