What I need most in massage tools and equipment
I ordered this after hip surgery when my muscles were numb/sore. This is a very high quality and heavy tool, although not too heavy, and easy to use alone. My physical therapist put it on me right after my surgery and I really enjoy rubbing it over my muscles and it seems to help loosen them up. (Be careful not to overload the scar! :-))
- Usage: It can be used with body emulsion or massage oil to cover the smooth edges on the smooth surface of the skin, press hard, and then move the muscles down - the so-called friction - gentle massage - or along the acupuncture meridians, along the skin. Gently massage in about 4-6 inches at a time on the surface.
