It's better than I thought. I figured I would have to place them where I want and then connect a mini USB cable to them on a long cord to charge them. But turns out you actually use the included double-sided tape to the magnetic strip, then the light magnetically sticks to the strip. So when it's time to charge them, simply detach them from the magnetic strip, charge them up, and then put them back on when they're fully charged. They work great! The bright lights really illuminate the area. In "G" mode, they expire after 15 seconds if no movement is continued. Just what we wanted for a night time toilet visit. I highly recommend them.
