this is so cute! I like it! Now I'll be completely honest. If you buy it for garments, it is included. NOT! You will be upset, unhappy and possibly angry. Thread spools are not standard sizes. These are mini roles. The needle threader isn't very durable, and the scissors are pretty cheap. So if you want this box for the items it contains, you will likely find a higher quality at the dollar store. I did NOT buy it for items. I bought it for a storage box. I LOVE IT! It's not huge and bulky, and it's not super small. Perfect for my sewing needs. I am by no means advanced in sewing, but I can handle torn edges and edge seams. Once I even made a bag for the weekend. So a simple little sewing kit is not enough for my needs. However, I don't need a whole huge huge set. That's what makes it so perfect for me. I am someone who likes to have a wide range of threads, needles and tools available for my project. I know I have good sewing scissors that I use specifically for fabric and I won't let them be used for anything else. Therefore I would not buy this set based on the content. Because I have tools that I already prefer, or I'm saving for tools that I want to add to my kit. But this storage box is great for storing a kit that I am assembling myself. I think he's handsome and strong. I like the soft fabric on the outside. The little pen is cute. The tray is useful and the bottom storage compartment under the tray is much deeper than I expected! It was a pleasant surprise. Overall for $20 I LOVE this storage box and will probably get a few more to use for non sewing related items. So let me say it again, if you like the box get this kit, if you are indeed considering the "bonus items" inside, DO NOT get it.
