I'm so glad I chose the IPEVO V4K Visualizer! I love it! Deep forest green wouldn't be my first color choice, but that's what I love about this camera: the images are crystal clear. No distortion or difficulty in focusing, whether projecting paper or an object. Works in both bright and dim light. Tripod and camera are made of high-quality materials. The stand has a heavy rectangular base measuring approximately 3.5" x 5.25" to keep the camera from tipping over. In addition, there are three swivel joints that allow for almost even laying. I could be wrong but the stand is quite heavy so I'd say it's metal. The bottom of the stand consists of a hinge followed by two rectangular bars, another hinge followed by a rectangular bar with another hinge on top. The top loop holds the lever with the camera. The camera can also be rotated from side to side. I'm sure I'll love this visualizer a lot more. So far the price and quality are amazing.
