This was great for hooking up AV to my wall mounted flat screen TV. I liked the 3 speed a bit more than the 2 speed as I could open a big hole to see what was going on in the wall. I installed my TV over a direct vented fireplace and this trio allowed me to ensure I was strapped to a counter and more than 2 feet in all directions from the fireplace. Overall it worked great. I was able to put my arm through the wall and move much better than 2 ties would have allowed me. For those who have talked about how to mount this on the wall, I think people don't understand that you have to use a mounting bracket. They are designed for mounting through a 3-way box or low-voltage mounting plate. If you don't have one, I saved them and just attached them directly to the drywall and you don't have to worry about pulling them out. The reason it comes with "light switch-like flathead screws," as one reviewer put it, is because it's meant to be installed like a light switch, NOT directly into drywall. If you need a low voltage mounting bracket: Vanco LV3 PVC low voltage mounting brackets (triple) I've also uploaded some photos if you need clarification. The only downside to be aware of is that this will open up a big hole in the wall. Make sure you don't create a huge draft situation. I used some cotton insulation (I wouldn't recommend using fiberglass as it's exposed) and it prevented drafts. If you're worried, light a match and blow right in front of the plate. If the smoke rises straight up, then everything is fine.
