I'm switching between a Mac mini and an external laptop keyboard and it's great. No KVM. Just one switch on the side to switch between laptop and Bluetooth Mac mini. I had no problems with that. I will say that I wish the buttons that toggle between the two settings were bigger(?). And also the caption that defines what mode you are in was bigger. really tiny, black on black. The typing speed is great and my fingertips don't hurt like on other keyboards. There are no problems with games.
