Bought this 3 years ago because I needed a new modem and it didn't sell long at Revain (or there was some kind of discount for orders over $100 - can't remember exactly). Although I could have used it straight away, I unplugged it to plug it in but left my old surfboard - super emphasis on "OLD" - plugged in as it still worked perfectly. Last year I FINALLY decided to plug it in. I called, the 4th traffic light is on. Reload. fix problems. Nothing. Wouldn't connect. Spent hours on the phone with Comcast. Contacted Revain who referred me to the manufacturer. I contacted them, signed up for a warranty so I could get help, only to find out I'm two weeks past my warranty. A bit lucky, right? So they couldn't do anything for free after I'd already spent over $100. Gone in the box for another year. Today I decided to give it another try because maybe someone messed something up - after all, this is a surfboard. I mean look at the reviews! I went back to them, even looked at some of the pictures to see the difference between my article and the pictures - not only because this list is clearly a confluence of several articles - there are no blue lights on my router, only green . Is it important? I do not know. In any case, on the phone to Comcast, they put both MAC IDs in - something that may not have been done before - I had hope. However, the 4th indicator is flashing - there is no communication from their side. Contacted Arris via chat - no help. Once again I was reminded that I had spent over $100 on a paperweight. I did not get any benefit from this article - couldn't be more angry and disappointed. Just bought a new router/modem! Let's not make the same mistake again!
