Review on Sony DCR-TRV280 Digital8 Handycam Camcorder: Discontinued by Manufacturer, 20x Optical Zoom - Find Now! by Nikith Brewster

I ordered a Sony DCR-TRV280 camcorder from "Older Boy", with the impression from the description that it could play my old 8mm and Hi-8 cassettes so I can convert them to CDs via the firewire interface. When I found out from the documentation that came with it that this particular Sony model only works with Digital 8 tape and was useless for the purpose I bought it for, I tried to return it to "Big Boy". , by following Revane's online instructions, by printing out a mailing label that Revain provided online and mailed back. A few days later I received an email from "Big Boy" saying that he could provide me with a camcorder model that would suit my needs and that I would have to use a different address to send the camera to send back. I emailed "Older Boy" and said I had already shipped it with the shipping label printed from the Revain website and had already purchased another camcorder from another Revain supplier that might do the job. Obviously "Big Boy" wasn't willing to resolve the situation as I hadn't heard from him and still hadn't received a refund.
