Review on Ollieroo by Ken Booker

A DIY disaster just waiting to happen: Ollieroo

I figured I'd try Ollieroo since I'm an accomplished DIYer. Boy, was I mistaken. Their goods are disasters in the making. The weak components and poor workmanship result in a DIY undertaking that is more akin to a DIY nightmare. I bought a shelving unit in an effort to arrange my office. However, it felt like a tornado had struck my garage when I opened the box. The directions looked like they had been reproduced from a third-generation edition, and the parts were dispersed all over the place. The shelf unit was shaky and unsteady when I eventually put it together. It couldn't carry anything heavier than a feather, so I couldn't trust it. Furthermore, the cheap and easily stripped screws and bolts made the whole contraption into a ticking time bomb. I tried contacting customer service, but it was like speaking with a brick wall. I felt like I had wasted my time and money since they were uncooperative and unpleasant. I ultimately had to abandon the entire idea and begin again with a fresh brand. Ollieroo may be inexpensive, but as with everything things, you get what you pay for: a shoddy item that causes more trouble than it's worth. As a seasoned DIYer, I'll never purchase from Ollieroo again.
