This is a very good activity smartwatch with some caveats. It should meet the needs of most users. Below are some items that work well and which don't. Heart rate sensor is better: The heart rate sensor is very good and performs continuous monitoring.2. GPS tracking is the best: GPS tracking is very accurate and connects quickly.3. Battery life is best: Even with a steady heart rate, GPS, and notifications on, the watch has amazing battery life. It's only been a week since I started using it and I'm still at 66%4. Sleep Monitoring - Average: Sleep monitoring is not its forte. Runs well at night. However, a nap or nap is not recorded. There is also no manual recording option. Huami has released an update for its premium smartwatches, but nothing for the Amazfit Bip or Bip S5 yet. Training modes are good: I haven't tried all training modes, but cycling/running/jogging works well and gives good data6. Watch Faces - Better: The app has a really good collection of watch faces as well as third-party watch faces. Considering it's not part of the Apple or Google ecosystems, it's good to know that it has such a developer base. Display - Good: The display is good and works well in all lighting conditions. Works best in direct sunlight. Of course, it's not as bright as AMOLED.8. Notifications are good: The notification options are good and suitable for most users. Calls/SMS/WhatsApp/Email/Calendar work well. I personally didn't want all app notifications on my watch. That can be annoying. However, if you're looking for more control over app notifications, this watch might not be the right choice9. Amazfit app is good: The app is good and gives a good summary of all key data: heart rate, steps, calories, sleep. Details and details are there too. However, the app could work better by being more intuitive with detailed information. Overall, this watch is very good for those looking for an above-average activity tracker with decent smartwatch features. It's hard to find another with the same range of features and functionality in the same price range or even higher.
