I've read reviews of at least 4 such cases from different manufacturers and the downsides were the same for all - the case is extremely difficult to fit and the cutouts for the buttons don't fit . I took a chance and encountered both problems. The outer plastic cover is not flexible at all. If it were silicone this design might work, but none of the ones I've found on Revain had anything other than that hard plastic. I had to use a kitchen knife to try to pry the outer plastic cover off the back of the cover and the iPad mini. The "tool" they provided was like a giant guitar pick, and it wasn't long enough to get the leverage I needed to try and put the lid on the unit. I was able to finish off all the corners of the iPad with a knife, but the lid still didn't fit properly. Also, the hole for the power button (I have an iPad mini 4) was partially covered by the case so I couldn't turn the device on or off as I can't press the center properly. Even after I was about to put the lid on, my iPad Mini could not be used. Maybe it fits the iPad Mini 5 better. If anyone knows of a manufacturer that makes this type of case (to hold the hand from the back) that is easy to install and of good quality, I'd appreciate a recommendation.
