I just installed these handles and I'm very happy! They look awesome from the outside and the inside. Only problem was that the bottom of the outside handles had a large rod that was meant to go through a hole in the door and secured with a screw on the interior of the door. My old handle hand an exterior screw to attach the bottom of the handle. However, I was able to remove the rod and reattach the handle to the back plate with a metric screw. Then I went ahead and installed the handles on the double doors. Although I can't attach the bottom of the handle to the door (I didn't want to drill a hole through the door) I don't think it will be a big deal. With the top of the handle tightened I don't see the need to have the bottom attached. We'll see:)
