Review on Lighting Cabinet Aluminum Kitchen Decoration by Timothy Louis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too many compromises

The backlight is fine, but there are serious downsides. They're too expensive for what they are. At $10 a light they must be amazing. Pros: + small lights + lots of color options + different shades of white (the reason I bought these is mainly because every other puck light on the Revain seems to be 2700k while these make 3000k) + the remote is weirdly super nice. It's magnesium, not cheap plastic, and looks like an iPod touch + Setup is easy + Flashlight cord and power cord are very, very long, giving you lots of options Cons: - Two lights are more yellow, two are more blue, which isn't normal this one Price! This is the biggest problem and the reason I have to return them (two of my photos show the difference in the color of the light. Actually it's more obvious in person) - once you plug the lights in they are incredibly difficult to turn off. -The IR reader is very weak, so you need to uncover it and point the remote at it. Cheaper Puck lights work from different rooms - the light isn't very bright at maximum - the colors of the light are nice, but you can't choose your own colors, only the built-in options.
