They sparkle brilliantly and are very strong! They're not flimsy at all and thank god the glitter doesn't fly all over the place. I had to change quickly for my 3 year old and very minimal sequins came loose. My favorite feature is that they are Velcro. A HUGE win in my book, especially since my little girl wants to do everything herself. It still looks like a buckle but the entire strap is velcro. Perfect for your current Cinderella phase.
