Review on 🌱 2L ZRDR Co2 Generator System for Aquarium Plants - Pressure Gauge, Automatic Pressure Relief Valve, Bubble Counter, Stable Output - Steel Bottle Base Included by Justin Stinson

It is definitely worth it if you use CO2 in your planted aquarium.

Well I've had it for about a month now and I have to say I'm very happy with the setup. I was a bit hesitant at first after reading other reviews but overall this is a good product. Definitely a cheaper alternative to disposable CO2 cartridges. One of the main complaints I've heard is that it leaks. I haven't had any problems with leaks. Another complaint I saw was that the solenoid gets very hot, which it does. As long as it's heating up, it doesn't get so hot that I can't touch it, so it doesn't bother me that much. Since the solenoid gets pretty hot when it's turned on, the water in the bubble counter evaporates pretty quickly, so I added water about every 3-4 days. I use this in a heavily filled 35 gallon tank and have had to top up every 10-12 days which is about as often as I have replaced the 45g CO2 cartridges I used previously have. Buying citric acid and baking soda in bulk will save you a lot of money in the long run. A 5-pound bag is around $30 here at Revain, and you'll spend around $2.70 each time you fill up a tank. With 5 pounds of each raw material you get about 11 refills, for the 45 gram CO2 cartridges I used it would cost about $150 for the same number of refills. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because the listed stainless steel U-tube was missing, but that wasn't a big deal to me.
