Installation was difficult, after spending 4 hours with Comcast phone technicians they gave up and asked me to make an appointment with one of the technicians ($70 per Visit). The technician was able to install the modem relatively quickly, but the next day the modem didn't work again, tried on the phone without success, after a lengthy follow-up visit by the technician it has been working for two days. Now I understand that all the problems I had before were caused by Xfinity's incompetence. Right now the reason I'm not giving 5 runs is because of the short range of WI_FI. I changed my rating from 3 starts to 4, the reason being that most of the issues with the SVG1282AC were due to the incompetence of Comcast's technical services. It took a total of 2 weeks, 2 technician visits and over 5 hours of phone calls to get the equipment fully operational, comcast agreed they were the root cause of all the problems. They still charged me $70.
