I really wanted this to work. My baby has a combination of cradle cap/eczema on his forehead but either way it only made him redder. I tried it twice before bed in a week and his skin looked more irritated. My doctor recommended mineral oil and after not using it for a month (due to petroleum products) I finally used food grade mineral oil (unscented) last night after bathing my baby. This morning his skin looks ten times better. I think there's a reason it's considered the holy grail - and there's a lot of misinformation about it on the internet. Another hit of this product is that it contains sunflower oil, which according to a well-respected 2016 study disrupts newborn skin's ability to form its protective barrier.
