Review on Fujifilm X-T3 Kit Fujinon XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS, black by Taufik Mohd Ghazali ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

The devil pulled me probably to buy it . for twenty years I shot Nikon, Canon on a mirror. In YouTube, almost everyone talks beautifully about the new Fuji XT-3, but after the purchase it became clear that all these thugs were well paid - and there is little truth. Fairy tales are told, they talk nonsense, but the people believe! XT-2 was better in assembly, not China, from failures sometimes the percent hung and the shutter button flew out, the cable refused. The control wheels were very light - they were blown away by the wind. In the XT-3, the wheels can no longer be turned, the skin will peel off the fingers. The springs are weak and the wheel falls through, the button in the wheel works! That is, it’s not possible to quickly get into the parameter, you will slip past. I have ISO / SS on small wheels so that I don’t quickly tear myself away from the VI and don’t rummage my fingers along the upper control wheels. AF speed - slow, up to 1.4 sec. thinks with an 18-55 lens, especially the brake in continuous focus mode! At dusk, AF is better than on the XT-2. The video camera shoots well - it heats up but does not turn off, unlike the XT-2. Settings - for every taste and color. China doesn’t even wash the matrix at the factory, they save on mops, because after unpacking the sealed camera, I looked at the matrix through a magnifying glass - sorry, I haven’t accumulated so much dust in a year of work on Nikon! Sony manufactures a matrix with a new copper substrate, on the matrix one can count five thousand incorrectly functioning - noisy pixels. White and black dots - randomly scattered around the frame, visible on a white sheet of paper in full auto through the viewfinder and screen using the rear wheel zoom function (checking the focus area). On the finished frame, they are not easy to notice, but when enlarged, they are enough, it is worth scrolling the frame with the joystick. This is a marriage of matrix technology - since this effect is far from visible on every camera, it occurs through one or two cameras. But it bothers a lot of people. Since not all XT-3s . In general, such matrices are subject to replacement under warranty.

Pros
  • The picture is detailed, the jeep is beautiful, the noise is minimal up to ISO 3200, the colors are still good up to ISO 6400, the camera settings satisfy the most demanding professionals, but.
Cons
  • - A new, swung battery keeps 30 minutes of work with the screen in booster mode, in the usual 45 minutes. - It is not always possible to adjust the front and rear control wheel quickly - A new matrix with a huge number of incorrectly working pixels - up to 30 pieces fall into the zoom field. faulty pixels, if they are multiplied by the area of the entire frame, then the total number of faulty pixels of the matrix will exceed 1000 pcs. - see photo. Pixels flicker, but remain hanging in the same places. - The camera menu has illiterate abbreviations in 2022 - Made in China, build quality is average . LCD screen is not glued with a seal around the perimeter, no weatherproofing - Autofocus on the speed of work at the level of mirrorless cameras of the last decade - Lack of adequate specialists in FUJI technical support. In case of a malfunction, the camera must be sent only to the FUJI ASC in Hong Kong. In the Fuji service, no one can say anything - they don’t know or don’t want to know) - Regular 18-55 made in the Philippines - the quality of the lenses is average, spots, dust inside. - Inadequately high cost of cameras and accessories for them, probably made of gold !
