At first I was attracted to the Ryzen 7 processor because I thought its performance would be better than Intel's. I was annoyed that several YouTube reviews of this laptop were less than brilliant, but I still bought the updated model for $300 off the regular retail price. Day 1: I installed MS Office, Antivirus and other software. Everything went smoothly and I was still mesmerized by the sharpness of the screen. Day 2: Everything went downhill. "I Ran" is a 4K (2160, 60 fps) version of a beautiful YouTube video of Costa Rica's nature. The entire video jerked. First I think it must be my wifi. Then the laptop randomly rebooted from time to time. I have probably 2 BSODs. I went to another location with a "stronger" Wi-Fi signal to test video playback. Despite this, the stuttering persisted and occasional reboots became more common. Day 3: I tried resetting the laptop and this time it wouldn't even boot into Windows after the first reboot. My conclusion: This laptop is expensive to configure, although Microsoft has stated that it was specifically configured with AMD. For the same price, you can get a DELL XPS 15 with a 9th Gen I7 processor and Nvidia graphics card and play the same video on a beautiful 4k screen.
