Review on πŸ’š Shamrock 83013-L Black Nitrile Powder-Free Gloves: Large, Fully Textured, Industrial - High-Quality Protection for Versatile Applications by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but a little slippery than latex.

I usually use latex gloves when pouring epoxy for resale but the last 2 batches fell apart when I just put them on so I decided to try these. They're nice and thick so I'm not worried about them breaking, so that's good. They fit very well. I have to get used to them being a bit less grippy than the latex ones, the bottles I use are high density polyethylene and I felt like they were a bit slippery in my hand the whole time and I heard a little Squeak when they are slightly slipped (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). I was concerned they might be difficult to put on without powder (putting on latex gloves without powder is difficult), but they made it easy. I think the reason is the thickness and less friction. Latex gloves have about the same coefficient of friction as leather, so it's more natural to pick up small objects without slipping, but nitrile seems to have less friction, so they're a bit slippery. As long as you're not working with smooth-surfaced objects, they'll be fine, but don't try to lift a glass of nitroglycerin with one hand ;-)

  • No Powder
Cons
