One person mentioned that the thickness of the legs makes them difficult to adjust and I'd say that's for sure. photographs and/or vertical stand; I believed it too at first, but the lateral alignment of the ball allowed me to keep it upright and straight. It's just tricky, but there's a notch on the bracket that's specifically designed to tilt sideways so you can orient the phone vertically. It was very nice after I figured it all out. before. My friend lifted the tripod for about 3 minutes, rotated it a few times and suddenly the tip of the ball broke off and is now unusable and needs another tip to work. BALL TOP IS INCREDIBLY COTTON/CHEAP/UNSTRONG; She literally held the thing for 3 minutes and that was it. I've had it for less than a month and have used it about 3 or 4 times while practicing camera techniques. I really enjoyed it. :'((I didn't have a chance to use the remote control. My girlfriend suggested buying another one. But I told her I wouldn't want another one if it was that cheap. If the seller/manufacturer wants to send a replacement then it might be worth keeping using the thing, but if I have to buy a whole new block every time it breaks, well, then it's just not worth it.
