These earring backings are free. I bought them for some of the diamond earrings my husband bought me which caused me to lose the original backs. So I figured I'd order them to protect her. The holes are too big and you immediately notice that you will lose the earrings when you put them on. Not just my diamonds, I tried them on several different earrings, both expensive and trendy, and they didn't fit. Please save your money. You'd have better luck with an eraser
