I attached this to the inside of a kitchen cupboard door using 3M double sided tape. It's very strong and won't fall off, and that way you don't have to drill a hole in the closet. My doors close smoothly and I tried jerking the door roughly to make the individual tea drawers fall out, but they never came close to falling out. As a test I put a tiny strip of double sided tape on the back of a drawer and it held the drawer in place very well so it never fell out. I also took the advice of some other reviewers and swapped out the tea bags to increase the amount of tea bags that could fit inside.
