The heating pad is very warm and the filling is very fluffy. will be hard to resist on a cold night. My cat checked it but didn't get in. She seemed offended by the smell of the catnip I sprinkled to get her in lol. For the price you get a heated A-frame. As this is day one I can't speak about weather resistance but I will say it doesn't have insulated sides or any type of waterproofing as far as I can tell. It's under a little shed so I'll just wait and see if it stays dry. it's not, I'll bring it indoors for my inner kitty.
