I bought several of these kits a few years ago. They've survived hundreds of games very well, but the spikes are a bit boring. I bought a new set and can only comment that they are now being made cheaper. A pair of darts broke, at the second cricket match, simply broke in half after hitting the ground. I compared the new darts to the old ones and found that the new darts are made of a harder and tougher plastic while the old ones are more flexible and pliable. That's probably why they don't click! If I were you I would find another set of arrows.
