This tent is easy to set up (compared to some of the older tents I've tried) and the tent part is great, especially if you're going out with your favorite tent for a day's fishing who decides to give way to the rain. Other tents without a canopy had a few drops around the front opening, and with an awning it keeps the rain out of the tent opening completely. So you can sit comfortably on the edge of the tailgate, drink coffee and enjoy the rain! I also really like that the awning DOES NOT need to be anchored to the ground and is as much a part of the truck body as the tent itself. Best boot tent I have ever owned but of course make sure it is to YOUR truck bed fits.
