Put a pair of these in your living room, along with matching ceiling speakers in your kitchen. At first I wasn't happy, then I switched the receiver to my wife's 15 year old Yamaha 100W RX-473 and lo and behold! We included some dance/hip hop/techno melodies that give the sound a very linear response. I tried a pair of R-2650-W IIs before taking them to the media room (where they work great) and found the 5650 to be livelier and more responsive, particularly at lower volumes, which left me a bit taken aback, though I have not checked the sensitivity information 11/21/2016: I was asked to upload some photos, here are two photos in the living room. Of course I painted them the same color as the wall and they just blend in, nobody notices them when they're in the room. In total I installed 13 Klipsch speakers built into the wall and ceiling and of course the grilles are all the same. The two ceiling grilles in the kitchen didn't need to be painted as the standard grilles match your typical white ceiling color. The walls were either off-white or tawny, and painting them was a difficult task. We bought a cheap Wagner spray can, thinned down the house paint and tried our best to apply very light coats. Too thick or too heavy and it clogs holes - I mean, some of them will still clog, but it doesn't matter. By not diluting I ruined a pair and had to order a replacement. (I think I also removed the felt backing to paint, look online for more). Basically, if you paint them properly with the right color, they are the best solution you can find on the market!
