There is nothing revolutionary in the design of this steel wool here. Except perhaps that it comes in sheets suitable for this application. This serves as a semi-permanent solution for filling holes where rodents or other medium-sized pests can enter. This replaces or defers the need for proper drywall, stucco, or a more complex solution. Each bag can probably be used to block 3-4 holes, although of course hole sizes can vary.
