It's hard to judge, is there a guide I could understand in my younger years? But it's mostly over my head. When you enter the router it is overwhelming, just admit it to everyone, too many for options! And it's everywhere, on every page of seemingly endless pages of options. I miss my Linksys, it really made sense! I'm not saying there's anything bad or wrong with this router as it seems to be doing its job very well, just want to say that it's so complex and lacks the streamlined architecture of previous makes and models. I used it, well I feel like an idiot! Out of the box this thing worked, but I couldn't login as instructed. I needed an Asus representative to help me resolve the issue. This thing is similar to the Nvidia driver, too many options but it works if you set everything right! Unlike the Nvidia driver, this thing has crap for reference or description. You hover over a thing in the Nvidia driver and see the definition of that thing and why you might or might not want to use it. This router needs a lot of it and is sorely lacking! Click "Manual" at the bottom of the page, go to Asus.com, click "Utility" at the bottom of any page, basically go to Asus.com. These two things don't work at all! And I still only have to mouse over a thing to tell me all about the thing! Listen, the thing works simply and clearly, but it's not for the average technician, it's for the super technician! My tablet went from 54Mbps with my old Linksys to 250Mbps with it when it was originally 350 and it lasted a day or so and then dropped to 250. No reconfiguration ever brought it back. Ahh, I'm no good with this router. Good range, the track is just great but damn difficult and dare I say too much.?!
