Look, you're buying a cheap lamp, you know what you're getting. It is in order. The box it came in was falling apart when I picked it up, but nothing was damaged inside. It came together well. I think each segment was about a foot long? The paint has partially chipped off at the edges. The bottom segment already has the cable coming out the side so I was worried it would twist in the tube after reassembly, but I found a workaround (twist it in the opposite direction leaving the free segment the same number of turns as you did rotate it so that it is straight when it is on). The biggest issue to be aware of is that the lightbulb and the remote control are paired together. So if the remote or lightbulb fails, you'll need to find a compatible replacement and then pair the instructions for installing the new one. I'm assuming a regular lightbulb will work just fine with binary control only, but I haven't tried it.
