It worked great (with a little creativity)!

Used to connect a Samsung Soundbar to a Samsung TV. I had to install from the top, leaving a screw loose on the bracket to adjust the width of the mounting points on the soundbar. I used the bracket kit that came with the soundbar. I'm happy with the result.

These brackets seem pretty thin but once mounted they're sturdy
