I purchased this item for my growing chickens for about 4 months. The last few purchases I made within a month had large brown grain mites and some type of flour mite in the pockets and they were just awful. They also cause itching if you don't wash after contact with the product. Every time I've bought it has been ok but only the last 3 packs had problems but other than that it needs to be checked or kept in places that won't lead to more bugs and so on. I've never felt so bad.
