I like the ability to take reference measurements without having to rely on a dial reading. There are two points of reference. One at the top of the ribbon and the second at the body of the roulette body. You take a reference measurement at these two points. There is also a tail for internal measurements. More specifically, rest the body push against the inside corner. On the back of the tape there is a second scale for measuring pipes and cylinders. You can also draw a circle using the small hole in the tape to insert a pencil and use the body as the center. They're also hard to find, but worth it.
