I work in a 'safe' area where, among other security measures, I have to go through a metal detector - which is common during the workday. It took me about a day to figure out that I wouldn't constantly take my metal buckle belt off, so I decided to fix it. When I see co-workers taking off their belts, I encourage them to get one. When I first got this belt I was a little apprehensive because it was so tight, but everything turned out to be fine. I've lost weight since buying this one and now I have more extra belts than I want. The only annoying thing about this belt is that the top of this excess tends to curl up from my waist. Since the belt is still a tough material, it pushes my shirt out (when my shirt isn't tucked in) and sometimes snags (especially when my shirt is tucked in). I'd like to shorten the belt, but I'm not sure I can do that without ruining it.
