My dog is about 12 pounds at his heaviest point, he ranges from 9 to 12. We took measurements and almost bought a very small but then we bought a small and it was so tight she is so uncomfortable so I'm buying another one without necessarily asking for a refund but I'd love to have one but I'm saying that even if you measure your dog you should probably buy a little more than You expected that's something we did and still we had to go two sizes up. Due to the measurements we had to go really small, we bought small heels for a maximum of 12 pounds and had to go even higher which is disappointing but the sweater itself was very good just the sizing was wrong.
