***The manufacturer sent me a replacement hair dryer*** Pros: Dries thick hair quickly Cons: The dryer has been in use for almost two years. The handle gets hot and too hot to hold after a few minutes, smells like electric fire, the plug also gets hot when inserted into the socket design flaw - the buttons are in an awkward spot on the handle, so the user accidentally turns off or switches the dryer to a cooler/lower setting *Upgraded from one to three stars for customer service. After seeing similar reviews, I sent the manufacturer a request for a possible recall or replacement through their website. Received an answer within 24 hours that a new dryer would be sent to me. Messaged the manufacturer on Sunday, received a new dryer the same Thursday. I will update the review once I use it. Didn't have to send the old dryer back. The cut cord is instructed to lie near the base of the handle and discarded.
