You just plug this into the USB port and you are able to read 4 in 1 sizes for the SD cards. Many cameras these days require you to use an SD card for the storage of photos and instead of having to hook your camera to the USB you can keep the cards separately and slip them into this reader and it saves time and energy.Excellent item which I highly recommend!
