This cage was a perfect fit for us including size, neutral colors, doors, grid spacing, price and accessories. (It's big!) Our water bottle worked great, it was easy to install, and the attachment and attachment mechanism are quiet. The hay dispenser looks flimsy, but is pretty sturdy once attached. Assembly is quick and easy. BUT - the first part of assembling this case is to attach the gray side panels to the burgundy base. I had to use a hammer. (a lot of effort trying to align with the base) At first it looked like there was no way to attach the gray previously attached plates to the base without altering or removing a piece of plastic, but I did decided to actually force it, and it really is. have to be pressed. (Only 2 or 3 of the 4 sidebars attach at a time, but no clicks or offsets). Attach all 4 gray pieces, then force them into the base if necessary (I scored once for each corner). If you follow the instructions in this review, assembly will take no more than 10-15 minutes. (The included instructions are rather vague). It took longer than I had hoped before I decided to take a risk and force it. Once built, Smores (young Abyssinian guinea pig) loves his new Wabitat! He ran a few laps and felt right at home. The clamps included in the kit are not attached with a strong fixation, which in our case does not matter. The front door is fantastic and opens effortlessly. (Our piglet has cuddle units regularly). Gauge metal has some merits if you're opinionated, but not that bad (strong enough). The cage and bowl are fine, but put them aside for now. (The hut can hide some animals if they are small!) We prefer a shelter or two or more playgrounds (no cage). I do not recommend anyone placing items on top of this cage when it is closed. If your pet can escape from above, secure the top door with zip ties or wire clips. This item took a while to arrive but it arrived quickly. In my opinion, it arrived safely, but I immediately checked for cracks in the base. I gave 4 stars and will upgrade to 5 if I have no complaints over time and the product lasts.
