Update: 09/16/2018. The watch still works great with the original battery and the gold tone is not scratched or damaged. Good watch for the price. It was impossible to find the features of this watch in better quality watches. Love: dial size, date window, non-reflective dial, contrasting hands. Night light is a bonus. The strap is about 7/16" wide and the length fits my 6 3/4" wide wrist with a little compression. The Walmart jewelry store sells this watch so they will remove the links. I didn't ask if they have additional links. I don't like those cheap scratchy rubber bands, but as long as they aren't stretched, the rubber bands won't scratch. Just received so I don't know how quickly the gold plating will wear off.
